Sheila was elected vice-chairman of the club in February 2004 after having
previously been its secretary for 17 years during which time membership expanded
enormously.
The herd has participated in North West Limousin Cattle Breeders events and
in 1998 won both champion and reserve in the annual heifer Derby with Beeches
Marble and Beeches Myrrh respectively. The Beeches herd has also been placed
on numerous occasions in the annual herd competition.
The Beeches herd has enjoyed success in the ring at shows in the region. Both
David and Sheila are official judges for the British Limousin Cattle Society.
Visitors to Park View are always welcome to see the Beeches herd in its natural
environment. A selection of bulls and incalf and maiden heifers are always
available for sale privately.
